Ms. Inez Wynn Brown, age 67, Mt. Vernon, died Sunday, May 8, 2005, in the Wheeler County Hospital of Glenwood after an extended illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Montgomery County. She was Protestant by faith.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Robert Sikes, Glenwood; one son, Bobby Brown, Mt. Vernon; four grandchildren, Daniel Brown, William Brown, Coy Sikes and Tara Sikes; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob Brown and kylie Brown.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, may 11, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. in Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service Chapel of Vidalia with Rev. Ronny Saxon and Rev. W.R. Connell officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Andy Warren, John Argo, Bobby Coleman, Dwayne Cooper, Danny Lumley and Jerry Miller.

Mrs. Viola Hudson, age 86, Vidalia, died Thursday, May 5, 2005, at Wheeler County Hospital of Glenwood after a brief illness.
She was a native of Toombs County. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Hudson, and one son, Lathan Hudson.
Survivors include three daughters, Thelma Conner, Lyons, Beverly Page, Tarrytown, and Jayne Poole, Glenwood; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were conducted Sunday, May 8, 2005, at 3:00 p.m. in the Lyons City Cemetery with Rev. May Ennis officiating. Interment followed.

Mr. Clinton Jarriel, age 81, Lyons, died Friday, may 6, 2005, in St. Joseph Hospital of Savannah after a brief illness.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Toombs County. He was a carpenter and construction worker and an Army Veteran serving in World War II. He was a member of Lyons Free Will Baptist Church and attended the Reedy Creek Full Gospel Church and Peoples Full Gospel Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary John Haynes Jarriel and on son, Jerry Jarriel.
Survivors include six children, Patricia blocker, Lyons, Larry Jarriel, Vidalia, Gail Jarriel, Collins, Clinton David Jarriel, Collins, Clinton David Jarriel, Suffolk, Va., and Terrie Grimes, Cobbtown; one brother, Remer J. Jarriel, Charleston, S.C.; three sisters, Ophelia Smith, Columbia, S.C., Mozelle Dubose, Savannah, and Frances Rosetta O'Neal, Augusta; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and one friend, Annette Sizemore, Lyons.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, May 9, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. in the Jones-Stewart Funeral Home Chapel of Lyons with Rev. John Griffin officiating. Interment followed in Little Flock Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bryan Jarriel, Clinton J.D. Jarriel, John Jarriel, Jeremiah Jarriel, Eddie Grimes and Willie McGowan.

Mr. Geoffrey P. Morgan, age 49, Metter, died Friday, May 6, 2005, in East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro after a brief illness.
He was a native of Toombs County, living in Oklahoma for many years and later moving back to the area. He was a machinist and was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include three daughters and son-in-law, Andrea Morgan and Barbie Jo Morgan, both of Gracemont, Oklahoma, and Stephania and Joshua Gragg, Anadarko, Oklahoma; four sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie William and Allecia Morgan, Verden, Oklahoma, Willie Hugh Morgan, Oklahoma City, Oklahom, and Amos Greoffrey Morgan and Zachery David Morgan, both of Gracemont; three brothers, David Hugh Morgan, Jacksonville, Florida, Michael Shawn Morgan, Lyons, and William Joseph Morgan, Vidalia; two sister, Nancy Collene Morris and Julie Kathleen Morgan, both of Vidalia; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were conducted Monday, may9, 2005, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of murchison Funeral Home with Rev. Irvin Murphy officiating. Interment followed in Pinecrest Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Benard McDaniels, Jimmy Haggard, Kenneth Woods, Ronnie Daniels, David Clemons and Bubba Porter. Honorary pallbearers were Randy McDuffie, Paul Graham, and Leland, Ronald, Arnold and Chris Palmer.

Mr. Jimmy Murray, age 65, Lyons, died Friday, may 6, 2005, at his residence.
He was a native of Tattnall County, living in Reidsville for many years and later moving to Lyons. He retired from Rogers Correctional Institute as a correctional officer. He was a member of Elza Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Murray, Lyons; one daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Phil Hancock, Louisville; one son and daughter-in-law, Donovan and Kellie Murray, Lyons; three sisters, Johnnie belle Rogers, Glennville, and Betty Carol Smith and Linda Dooley, both of Reidsville; three brothers, Carol Murray, Lyons, and Aubrey Murray and Julian Murray, both of Reidsville; five grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, May 9, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. in Elza Baptist Church. Interment followed in Mt. Moriah Methodist Church Cemetery.
Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
