Waverly, Camden County, Georgia - William Thomas "W. T." Taylor, 81, of Waverly died Saturday at Forum Health Care in Brunswick.
Mr. Taylor, a native of Vidalia, had been a resident of Camden County for 64 years. He was retired from Babcock and Wilcox Co. Mr. Taylor was a member of Horsestamp United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening.
The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Horsestamp United Methodist Church in Waverly with the Rev. Elliott Foss officiating. Burial will follow in Horsestamp Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Lyons, Avery Greene Jr., Steven Greene, Mike Joiner, Joe Taylor Jr. and David Stephens.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
Survivors include a son, James W. Taylor of Waverly; three daughters, Jeannette M. Taylor of Topeka, Kan., Jodie T. Greene of St. Marys and Lecia T. Smith of Brunswick; a sister, Annie Lee Cobb of Sumter, S.C.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
