Lucille Barrow Thompson Obituary

[Glennville, Tattnall County, Georgia]

Lucille Barrow Thompson, 73

Lucille Barrow Thompson, 73, died Sunday, January 2 at Evans Memorial Hospital. The Evans County native had lived in Glennville most of her life. She was a homemaker and attended Liberty Fellowship Church of God.

Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Timmy Dubberly of Glennville, Judy and Dean Cameron of Claxton, June Cowart of Aiken, S.C.; a son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Deborah Thompson of Glennville; two sisters, Pete Rewis and Sue West, both of Claxton; three brothers, Joe Barrow of Claxton, Garland Barrow of Wrightsville, and Jimmy Barrow of Lyons; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 4 at Carter Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John Nunes officiating. Burial was in Emmaus-Red Hill Church Cemetery in Evans County.

Pallbearers were Ken Seiber, Willie Mann, Tim Barrow, Danny Bocker, Tommy Barrow, and Adrian Blocker.

Carter Funeral Chapel of Glennville was in charge of arrangements.
