Mrs. Georgia Turner Westberry, 45, Obituary

Jesup, Wayne County, Georgia - Mrs. Georgia Turner Westberry, 45, died Friday night in the Wayne Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

A native of Toombs County, she was a member of the Gardi Church of God, and had lived in Wayne County for the past 30 years.

Survivors are her husband, Leion J. Westberry of Jesup; two daughters, Mrs. Ann Manning of Jesup and Mrs. Janie Sue Daniels of Screven; three sons, J. L., Larry and Jeff Westberry all of Jesup; her mother, Mrs. Mamie Turner of Hazlehurst; a granddaughter; a sister, Mrs. Grace Crosby of Lake Como, Fla., five brothers, Willie, C. W., Lawson, Quinton, and M. T. Turner, all of Hazlehurst.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the Gardi Church of God with the Rev. Willie L. Barwick officiating.

Pallbearers were James Westberry, Aaron Westberry, Woodrow Manning, Allen Spell, James Hodge, and John Hodge.

Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery under the direction of the NeSmith-Harrison Funeral Home.
