Virginia S. Chapman Obituary

VIDALIA, Toombs County, Georgia - Virginia S. Chapman, 61, died Aug. 18 at home.

She was born in Tattnall County and lived in Vidalia for 37 years. She was a graduate of Georgia Southern College and was a retired Realtor. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Vidalia, the church choir and Winsome Sunday School Class and was a former pianist.

SURVIVORS: her husband, George Chapman of Vidalia; a daughter-in-law, Alexa Chapman of Vidalia; two sons, Wes and Briam Chapman, both of Vidalia; her mother, Edna Sikes of Vidalia; a sister, Jean Allen of Tallahassee, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Carter and Kayleigh Chapman, both of Vidalia.

VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Murchison Funeral Home, Vidalia.

FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, burial in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
