Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Mr. Henry Dudley Purcell, 54, died Sunday at his residence after a brief illness.
Mr. Purcell was a native and lifelong resident of Toombs County, was a retired superintendant with McDonald Construction and a member of the South Thompson Baptist Church.
Survivors: his wife, Mollie Purcell of Vidalia; one son, Dudley Purcell of Vidalia; a daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Randall Johnson of Mt. Vernon; one stepdaughter and son-in-law, Rebekah and Bill James of Lyons; one stepson, Daniel Morgan of Vidalia; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Judy Purcell of Metter; five sisters, Janice Collins of Atlanta, Martha and her husband, Jerry Goesham Newnan, Karen and her husband, Billy Clark of Ailey, Susan and her husband, Jerry Anderson of Vidalia, Melinda and her husband, Joe Yates of Metter; 12 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: all day and evening Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
Funeral Services: 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, November 13, from the South Thompson Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Riner officiating. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services.
Burial: Sharpe Cemetery.

Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia - Mae Walden Webster, of Savannah, died Sunday, November 10, at Candler Hospital.
She was born in Toombs County and had lived in Savannah for over 50 years. She was a member of the Salvation Army and the widow of the late Claude W. Webster.
Mrs. Webster was retired from Heritage Park Nursing Home, where she served as the Activities Director. She was past president of the Womens Insurance Society, and past president and Counselor of the Daughters of America.
Survivors: a daughter and son-in-law, TLene and Lester Miller of Richmond Hill; three grandchildren, Jeannie, Wilder and Geoffrey Wilson; and several cousins.
Graveside Services: 10:00 a. m. Tuesday in Bonaventure Cemetery. Remembrances: Salvation Army.
