Uvalda, Montgomery Co, Georgia - Jimmy Ray Garrett 44, died Nov. 28 as a result of a traffic accident.
He was a lifelong resident of Toombs County. He was a farmer and a member of the Holiness Baptist faith.
SURVIVORS: a son, Jaime Garrett of Uvalda; a sister, Gail G. McCoy of Pembroke; and two brothers, Charles and Billy Garrett, both of Vidalia.
FUNERAL: 3 p.m. today at Rock Springs Holiness Baptist Church, burial in Sharpe's Cemetery, near Alston.

Glennville, Tattnall County, Georgia - W. Danny Smiley, 55, died Nov. 28 at Tattnall Memorial Hospital in Reidsville.
He was a native of Tattnall County and lived in Glennville most of his life. He owned and operated Danny's T.V. and Electronics Repair in Glennville and Jesup the past 38 years. He was an Air Force veteran and a member of the Edgar Casey Foundation and Northside Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Brenda K. Smiley of Glennville; two sons, Chris Smiley of Jesup and Scotty Smiley of Claxton; a sister, Betty Kemp of Lyons; a brother, Jimmy Smiley of Jacksonville, Fla.; a granddaughter, Chelsie Smiley of St. Augustine, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 2-3 p.m. today at Carter Funeral Chapel in Glennville.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 3 p.m. today at Carter Funeral Chapel in Glennville.
