Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Mr. William L. DeVore, 75, died Oct. 18 at Bethany Nursing Center.
He was born in Clearwater, Fla., and lived in Vidalia the past five years. He was a retired civil service employee and an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and Smyrna United Methodist Church.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Grace D. DeVore of Vidalia; a son, Hank DeVore of Vidalia; a daughter, Cheryl Unterfenger of McHenry, Ill.; a stepson, Delton McDonald of Vidalia; a stepdaughter, Janie Casel of Johnson City, Tenn.; a sister, Juanita Peterson of North Augusta, S.C.; and 10 grandchildren.
VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Ronnie L. Stewart & Son Funeral Service in Vidalia.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ronnie L. Stewart & Son Funeral Service, burial in Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Vidalia.

Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Mr. Lonnie Franklin Vasser, 61, died Oct. 18 at Memorial Medical Center.
He was born in Floyd County and lived in Vidalia since 1973. He was a tree surgeon and a Baptist.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Quinnell Vasser of Vidalia; a daughter, Gwen Dolyn Durrence of Lyons; sons, Lonnie Gary Vasser of Lyons and Marvin William Vasser of Vidalia; a sister, Elizabeth Everage of Goulds, Fla.; a brother, Walter Douglas Vasser of Clewiston, Fla.; a granddaughter, Quinnell Lea Chay Vasser of Lyons; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Murchison Funeral Home in Vidalia.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Murchison Funeral Home, burial in Pinecrest Cemetery.
