Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Mrs. Barbara Jean Roundtree, 51, died Oct. 17 at home.
She was born in Treutlen County and attended Georgia public schools. She was a seamstress and a member of Solomon Tabernacle Baptist Church in Vidalia.
SURVIVORS: two daughters, Mary Ann King of Homerville and Michelle Forrest of Vidalia; three brothers, Robert Brown Jr. of College Park, Samuel Flanders of Vidalia and Felton Brown of Mabean, N.C.; and five grandchildren.
VISITATION: 7-8 p.m. today at Vidalia Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Saturday at Solomon Tabernacle Baptist Church, burial in Eternal Glory Gardens, Vidalia.

Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia - Ronnie Louis Thompson, 49, died Oct. 22 at Roper Hospital in Charleston.
He was a lifelong resident of Toombs County and a plant equipment operator with Georgia Power at Plant Vogel. He attended Cedar Crossing Church of God.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Gayle Marie Dykes Thompson of Lyons; two sons, Matt and Tony Thompson, both of Lyons; two stepsons, Cory Toler, U.S. Navy, New Jersey, and Jamey Toler of Lyons; his mother and stepfather, Jean and J. Hall NeeSmith of Uvalda; two sisters, Mary Waller of Soperton and Joyce Galbreath of Alston; a brother, Charles Thompson of Uvalda; a granddaughter and other relatives.
VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Murchison Funeral Home in Vidalia.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Saturday at Murchison Funeral Home, burial in Thompson Family Cemetery in Toombs County.
