Charlotte Zorn Bell Obituary

Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia - Charlotte Zorn Bell, 80, died Aug. 13.

She was a lifelong resident of the Marvin community, a housewife and a member of Marvin United Methodist Church.

SURVIVORS: a son, David R. Bell of Dawson; a daughter, Linda Bell English of Vidalia; four sisters, Dean Higgs of Cleveland, Tenn., Tressie Wells of Winston-Salem, N.C., Barbara Cowart of Augusta and Emily Martin of Hinesville; and four grandchildren, Todd Bell of Shellman, Shane Bell of Dawson, Tessa Bell of Dunwoody and Charlotte Brooke Merritt of Vidalia.

FUNERAL: 2 p.m. today at Marvin United Methodist Church, burial in Marvin Methodist Church Cemetery.

George Montgomery, 86, Obituary

Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - George Montgomery, 86, died Aug. 7 at Toombs Nursing Home in Lyons.

He was born in Emanuel County and educated in Georgia public schools. He was a lumber handler with Choo Choo Lumber in Vidalia and an usher for Mount Zion Baptist Church in Vidalia.

SURVIVORS: an adopted daughter, Betty Steelie of Atlanta; a stepdaughter, Geneva Roberson of Tarrytown; a sister, Rosa Lee Coppect of Swainsboro; and a host of grandchildren.

FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Vidalia, burial in Eternal Glory Gardens in Vidalia.

Jason Van Mosley, 19, Obituary

Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Jason Van Mosley, 19, died Aug. 12 at Meadows Regional Medical Center from injuries in an auto accident.

He was a native of Candler County and a resident of Vidalia the past several years. He attended Vidalia High School and was employed by Wilkes Office Supply in Vidalia. He was a member of Metter Church of God.

SURVIVORS: his parents, Elois Clark of Uvalda and Gregory Van Mosley of Vidalia; his paternal grandparents, Maxine Mosley and CV Mosley, both of Vidalia; three brothers, Marty Smith of Uvalda and John Cleveland Herrington and John Randall Herrington, both of Hazlehurst; four sisters, Ann Davis of Fitzgerald, Christy Wilcox of Hazlehurst, Misty Simpson in Japan with the U.S. Air Force and Cystal Mosley of Pensacola, Fla.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Ronnie L. Stewart & Son Funeral Service in Vidalia.

FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Saturday at Ronnie L. Stewart & Son Funeral Service in Vidalia, burial in Cedar Crossing Cemetery in Uvalda.
