Hallyod Brown Obituary

Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Hallyod "Bo" Brown, 53, died Oct. 25 at University Hospital in Augusta.

The Toombs County native was a sales representative with Applied and Industrial Technology before retiring and a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: his wife, Elaine Rogers Brown of Waynesboro; two daughters, Lisa Beah of North Augusta and Debra Buerr of Campbell, Ky.; a son, Michael Brown of Atlanta; five brothers, Allen and Giles Brown of Virginia, Clifford Brown of Florida, Orven Brown of Jonesboro and Earl Brown of Waynesboro; his mother-in-law, Ella Ree Rogers of Collins; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL: 2 p.m. today at McCall Funeral Home in Reidsville, burial in Pine Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

James Henry Kight, Sr., Obituary

Soperton, Treutlen County, Georgia - James Henry Kight Sr., 81, died Oct. 26 at Veterans Affairs Hospital in Dublin.

He was a native of Toombs County and a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer and served in the Army during World War II.

SURVIVORS: his wife, Geraldine Cammack Kight; a son and daughter-in-law, James Henry Jr. and Julie Kight of Soperton; three sisters, Barbara Heath of Adrian, Mary Braswell of Macon and Tiny Yearty of Marietta; and two brothers, Bill Kight and Rufus Kight of Soperton.

FUNERAL: 2 p.m. today at Sammons Funeral Home, burial in Westview Cemetery.
