James C. Arnold, Jr. Obituary

Reidsville, Tattnall County, Georgia - James C. Arnold, Jr., 57, died Oct. 13 at Tattnall Memorial Hospital.

The Toombs County native was a longtime resident of Reidsville.

SURVIVORS: his wife of 35 years, Patricia Arnold of Reidsville; two sons, James Arnold III and Danny Arnold, both of Reidsville; two daughters, Benita Deloach and Casey Arnold, both of Reidsville; four sisters, Annette Spikes of Reidsville, Pamela Graves of Savannah, Angela Riddle of South Carolina and Dona Langley of Washington; two brothers, Williard Arnold and Ronald Arnold, both of Reidsville; two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: 5 p.m. Tuesday at McCall-Anderson Funeral Home.

FUNERAL: 3 p.m. Wednesday at McCall-Anderson Funeral Home, burial in Mount Moriah Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Carrie "Betty" E. Johnson Obituary

Pooler, Chatham County, Georgia - Mrs. Carrie "Betty" E. Johnson, 66, of Pooler, died Oct. 13 at home.

The Tattnall County native lived in Pooler for 49 years and was a homemaker and a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: her husband of 49 years, Mitchell R. Johnson Sr. of Pooler; three of daughters and sons-in-law, Angel A. Carr and Donald P. Carr Jr. and Jane W. and Pete Allen, all of Eden, and Maronda S. and Randall A. Ward of Guyton; a son, Mitchell R. Johnson Jr. of Florida; a brother, Bobby Keen of Florida; a sister, Pat Edwards of Lyons; five grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL: 2 p.m. today at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel, Pooler, burial in Hillcrest Abbey West.
