Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia - Douglas M. Campbell, 58, died Thursday at his residence after a brief illness.
Survivors: wife, Mrs. Jan Campbell and 11 children. Funeral Services: 4:00 p. m. Sunday, Dec. 15, Harris Funeral Home in Abbeville, SC.
Burial: Melrose Cemetery.

Survivors: a daughter, Veronica Moore of Hardeeville, SC; two sons, Robert E. Connor of Ailey, GA and Vernon E. Connor of Savannah; a sister Clistie Williams of Savannah; 19 children and eight great-grandchildren.

Survivors: mother, Pauline Sanders; sisters, Mary Jane Lucky, Gwen Meekins, Sapphina Harden, Debra Sanders, Cherie Groover, Charlene Green, Caletta Sanders, and Anita Sanders; brothers, Albert Sanders, Charles Sanders, Carl Sanders, Jerry Sanders, Richard Sanders, Chad Sanders, Nicholas Sanders, and Spencer Sanders.
Visitation: 12:00 noon December 14 at Smalley-Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 2:30 p. m. December 15 at Jordan Stream Baptist Church. Burial: Macon Cemetery of Lyons.

Milledgeville, Baldwin County, Georgia - Mr. John Murdock Peebles, Jr., 79, of Swainsboro, died December 12 in the Georgia War Veterans Home, Milledgeville.
He was born in Treutlen County and lived in the Georgia War Veterans Home for the past six years. He was a son of the late John Murdock Peebles, Sr. and the late Inez Bell Peebles. He was married to the late Inez Toler Peebles. He served in the Army and Navy for eight years and was a retired printer.
Survivors: two sisters, Lucile (Roy) Durden, Soperton; Trudie Burns, Vidalia; two brothers, Alfred Trellis "Nick" (Eudine) Peebles, Oak Park, GA, John Henderson (Mirika) Peebles, Tampa, FL.
Visitation at the funeral home, 6:00-8:00 p. m., Saturday.
Graveside services: Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery, 2:00 p. m., Sunday, Dec. 15.
