Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia - Mrs. Runell Cauley Anderson, 66, died December 2.

Survivors: son, William; sisters, Juanita, Mildred, and Mary; brothers, Aubrey and Talmadge; nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p. m. Wednesday, Funeral Home.

Funeral: 11:00 a. m. Thursday, Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service Chapel of Vidalia.

Burial: 2:00 p. m. at the Hillcrest Abbey West in Savannah.

Mr. James William McArthur Obituary

McGregor, Montgomery County, Georgia - Mr. James William McArthur, 83, died December 2 in the Dekalb General Hospital in Decatur after an extended illness. He was a native of Montgomery County living there all of his life.

Mr. McArthur was the son of the late William Thomas (W. T., Sr.) and Mary Clyde McArthur. He graduated from Brewton Parker High School and attended college there. Mr. McArthur was a farmer and a naval store operator, was elected Farmer of the Year in 1963, a former Montgomery County Commissioner and a member of the McGregor Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder.

Survivors: a sister, Nancy McArthur Cumbie of Lufkin, TX; a brother, Don McArthur of McGregor; several nieces and nephews including, Lehman and Robert Franklin, Gwen Freeman, Peggy Colpoys, Diane Hendrix, Mary Carole Kelly, Jimmy Cumbie, Deal McKinney, Henrietta Singletary, Rhett Smith; several great nieces and nephews including, Ray McKinney, Jr., of Statesboro and Reid McArthur of Vidalia.

Visitation: 7:00-8:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: 11:00 a. m. Wednesday, December 4, at the McGregor Presbyterian Church with Dr. Jay Warthen and Reverend David Blalock officiating.

Burial: Dead River Cemetery.

Remembrances: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the McGregor Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 897, Vidalia, GA 30475 or Dead River Cemetery, attn. Don McArthur, 165 McArthur Rd., Ailey, GA 30410.
