Mrs. JoAnne Gordon Moss Obituary

Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Mrs. JoAnne Gordon Moss, 78, died Thursday, November 21, peacefully among family and friends after an extended illness.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Toombs County, a devoted wife and mother, a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Vidalia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland H. Moss.

Survivors: four sons, Michael David Moss of Alexandria, VA, Leland Heflin Moss, Jr., of Vidalia, Kris Johnson Moss of Atlanta and Joel Barkley Moss of Tybee Island; one sister and brother-in-law, Mildred G. and Grady E. Kennedy of Vidalia; one brother, Dan L. Gordon, Jr., of Vidalia; two granddaughters, Caitlyn and Kerry Moss of Atlanta; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services: 2:00 p. m. Saturday, November 23, in the Chapel of Murchison Funeral Home with Reverend David Blalock officiating.

Burial: Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

Lucian Earl Terrell Obituary

Glennville, Tattnall County, Georgia - Lucian Earl Terrell, 71, stepped into the Gates of Glory, November 21 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL.

The Toombs County native had lived in Florida for the past 50 years. He was a Methodist and a retired mattress maker.

Survivors: wife, Lois Y. Terrell of Glen-St. Mary, FL; sons and daughters-in-law, Leland and Connie Terrell of Sanderson, FL, Rayford and Glenda Terrell of Glen-St. Mary, FL, Ronnie and Cindy Terrell of MacClenny, FL, Rev. Ernest and Donna Terrell of MacClenny, FL; sisters, Doris McCullough and Barbara White, both of Pooler; brothers, Jack Terrell of Glennville, Theron Terrell of Savannah, Dewey Terrell of Faulkville, and Reginald Terrell of Savannah; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p. m. Saturday at the Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p. m. Sunday at Cobb Funeral Home, Glennville Chapel.

Burial: Glennville City Cemetery.
