Mrs. Beatrice Smith Crosby Obituary

Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia - Mrs. Beatrice Smith Crosby, 97, died Monday, Sept. 16, at her residence after an extended illness.

A native of Evans County, she lived most of her life in Toombs County. She was a homemaker and a retired retail representative. She was a long time member of Toombs County Chapter 546, Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the Lyons First Baptist Church, a member of the Mamie China Sunday School Class and a member of the Womens Morning Mission Circle.

Mrs. Crosby was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Crosby in 1979.

Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Paul Harber of Atlanta, and Betty and Foster Cramer of Lyons; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 7:00-9:00 p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral Services: 2:00 p. m. Wednesday from the First Baptist Church of Lyons with Rev. Grady Walden and Dr. Max Hill officiating.

Burial: Lyons City Cemetery. Jones-Stewart Funeral Home.
