Mrs. Carolyn Joy Beasley Obituary

Oak Park, Emanuel County, Georgia - Mrs. Carolyn Joy Beasley, 51, died Friday afternoon, September 20, at her residence after an extended illness.

Joy was a native of London, KY, and had resided in Indianapolis, IN, for several years and in Oak Park for the past 18 years. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse employed by Vidalia Pediatric for ten years and also employed by Toombs Nursing Home and Bethany Home of Vidalia. She taught nursing aid at Southeastern Technical College and was a member of United Fellowship Baptist Church in Oak Park.

Survivors: husband, Gary Beasley of Oak Park; daughters, Jennifer Strange and Cortney Beasley, both of Oak Park; son, Gary Beasley, Jr., of Oak Park; sister, Lottie McTarsney of Clermont, IN; brothers, Hobart Deaton of Fayette, IN, and Dallas Deaton and Don Deaton, both of Mooresville, IN; one special niece, Marla Neal of Mooresville, IN; two grandchildren, Allison Joy and Rick Strange, both of Oak Park; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral: 3:00 p. m. Sunday, September 22, from the Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service Chapel of Vidalia, with Rev. Steve Bryant and Rev. Tim Brantley officiating.

Entombment: Kirby Cemetery near Oak Park.

Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Mrs. Frances Gaynelle Lowe Davis, 79, died September 20.

Survivors: children, Pharis Short and Jimmy & Vance Davis.

Funeral: 2:00 p. m. Sunday, September 22, at the Vidalia Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Jay Warthen officiating.

Burial: Pinecrest Cemetery.
