Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Kate Minton Davis, 88, of 913 Taylor Springs Road, died Thursday, December 18, 2003 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was a native of Wilkinson County and moved to this area about 1927, was a homemaker and a member of the North Thompson Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah Marion Davis and son, Roddy Davis.
Mrs. Davis is survived by one son, James Alton Davis of Vidalia; one granddaughter, Marcie Garrett of Vidalia; one grandson, Matthew Davis of Richmond Hill; one great-grandchild, Skylar Kate Davis; one daughter-in-law, Marjorie Shuman of Reidsville and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 20, 2003 in the Chapel of Murchison Funeral Home.
Burial: North Thompson Baptist Church Cemetery.
