Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia - Mrs. Madaline Moore Mosley, 91, died Sunday, November 30, 2003 in Meadows Nursing Center of Vidalia after an extended illness.

She was a lifelong resident of Toombs County, living all of her life in the Blue Ridge Community. She attended Georgia Teachers College and taught school several years. She was a homemaker, a member of the Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney H. Mosley.

Mrs. Mosley is survived by three sons, Wendell Mosley of Lyons, Sidney Hugh Mosley and his wife, Judy of Canton and Leslie Mosley and his wife, Alice of Vidalia; four sisters, Mary McLendon and Ora Venice Winge both of Lyons, Oreeta Jones of Warwick and Lucille Moore of Clarksville, Virginia; two brothers, Eric Moore of Lyons and Dennis Moore, Jr., of Dearing; two grandchildren, Cindy and Pete Phillips of Hagan and Les and Tara Mosley of Covington; three great- grandchildren, Hunter Phillips of Hagan and Sebastian and Sophie Mosley of Covington; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Madaline Moore Mosley will be held Wednesday, December 3, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Murchison Funeral Home with Reverend John Lampp officiating. Interment will follow in Lyons City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from7:00-9:00.
