Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Mr. Terry D. NeeSmith, Sr. , age 58, died Friday evening, December 19, 2003 in the Meadows Regional Medical Center of Vidalia after a sudden illness.

Terry was a native and lifelong resident of Toombs County, was a retired Boilermaker and a member of Local #199.

He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his daughter, Renee' H. Still in 2000.

Terry is survived by his wife, Patricia S. NeeSmith of Vidalia; one son, Terry D. NeeSmith, Jr., and his wife, Dianne of Vidalia; one special daughter, Laura A. Brown of Vidalia; two brothers, Kermit R. NeeSmith of Hinesville and D.D. NeeSmith of Lyons; two grandsons, Caleb McRae Still and H. Bennett Moore both of Vidalia; one granddaughter, Mallory Eden Still of Vidalia; one son-in-law, Dr. Odell P. Still of Vidalia; three special grandchildren, Hunter L. Rollins of Lyons, Madisyn Rakes and Makenna Rakes both of Vidalia.

Funeral services for Mr. Terry D. NeeSmith w ill be conducted Sunday afternoon, December 21, at 2:00 p.m. from the Tabernacle Baptist Church of Vidalia with the pastor, Rev. Murray Ward officiating.

Entombment will follow in the family mausoleum at Pinecrest Cemetery.

The family will assemble at the residence of son, Terry D. NeeSmith, Jr., at 1911 Lakewood Drive, Vidalia.
