Mary Wiggins Clifton Obituary

Millen, Jenkins County, Georgia - Mary Wiggins Clifton, 80, died Thursday, January 30, 2003 at Meadows Nursing Center in Vidalia, after an extended illness.

She was born in Bulloch County, but had lived in Jenkins County for the past 60 years. She was retired from Jockey International and was a member of the Millen United Methodist Church. She was one of the last surviving members of the "Good Neighbor Club".

She is survived by her husband, Paul Clifton; a son, Gary Clifton both of Millen; a daughter, and son-in-law, Linda Clifton Eason and C. Paul Eason of Vidalia; five grandchildren, Joey McCullough of Bluffton, SC, Jeffery McCullough of New York, NY, Jennifer Clifton of Cartersville, Lee Clifton, and Edward Clifton of Millen; two great grandchildren, Daniel and Ann Marie McCullough of Vidalia; two sisters, Dorothy Wiggins and Juanita Heath; one brother, Donald Wiggins all of Statesboro.

Funeral Services: 4:00 p. m. Sunday, February 2 at the Millen United Methodist Church.

Burial: Millen Cemetery.

Henry Melvin H. M. Morris Obituary

St. Petersburg, ? County, Florida - Henry Melvin H. M. Morris, 73, died at his residence.

A native of Toombs County, GA, Mr. Morris had resided in Florida for many years. He was a graduate of Vidalia High School, a U. S. Army veteran and retired. He was the oldest son of the late Henry Melvin and Katie Bell Rolison Morris.

Survivors: two sons, Charles Hampton Curley of Merritt Island, FL and James Edward Curley of St. Petersburg, FL; two grandsons, Ryan and Adam Curley of Merritt Island; one sister, Carolyn Morris Fountain of Hazlehurst; two brothers, James Hampton Morris of Phoenix, AZ and Ken L. Morris of Atlanta.

Burial: Military rites at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.

Funeral Service: 7:00 p. m., Sunday, February 2 at the funeral home.

Committal service and burial: 2:00 p. m., Monday at Pinecrest Cemetery in Mobile, AL.
