Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia - Reba Jordan James, 82, died Saturday afternoon at her daughters house in Savannah under hospice care after an extended illness.
Mrs. James was a native and lifelong resident of Lyons; she was retired owner and operator of Lyons Nursery and Landscaping for 42 years. She was a member of the Leck Strader Sunday School Class and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lyons. Mrs. James was preceded in death by her husband, H.P. James in December of last year.
Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Yancy Farmer of Savannah; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Barbara James of Lyons; one brother, Earlie Jordan of Albuquerque, NM; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday from the First United Methodist Church of Lyons with Rev. James Aycock, Dr. Max Hill, and Rev. James Staubes officiating.
Burial: Lyons City Cemetery.
