Audrey Mae Duke Harn Obituary

Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Audrey Mae Duke Harn, 90, died Saturday, January 11, 2003 in Tombs Nursing Home of Lyons after an extended illness.

She was a native of Telfair County and lived in Vidalia since 1945. She retired from Glove manufacturing with twenty years service and then kept children in her home until 1992. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Vidalia and was preceded in death by her husband, Aulton H. Harn in 1987.

Survivors: six nieces, Janice Dowdy of Vidalia, Jackie Watson of Davenport, FL, Bonnie Lattimer of Clearwater, FL, Joan Turner of Fayetteville, Dot Hindman Peacock of San Antonio, TX, and Nell Jenkins of Carrollton; and several greatnieces and nephews.

Funeral Services: 1:00 p. m., Tuesday, Jan. 14 in the Chapel of Murchison Funeral Home with Reverend Bonnie Lattimer officiating.

Burial: Pinecrest Cemetery.

Visitation: 6:00-9:00 p. m., Monday at the funeral home.

Jennifer Annette Miller Obituary

Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia - Jennifer Annette Miller, 22, died Saturday, January 11, 2003.

Visitation: 7:00-9:00 p. m., Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral Services: 2:30 p. m., Tuesday, Jan. 14 at the Cobbs Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow on family property.

Mr. James R. Salter Obituary

Port Wentworth, Chatham County, Georgia - Mr. James R. Salter, 67, died on Saturday, January 11, 2003 at St. Josephs Hospital.

Born in Toombs County, Mr. Salter had lived in Metter for a number of years before moving to Port Wentworth 36 years ago. He retired from Browns Transport after 26 years of service and from Blair Transport after fiveyears. He was a very dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors: his wife of 49 years, Freddie P. Salter of Port Wentworth; daughters, Karen Ellisor-Schaaf of Savannah and Kimberly Kaminsky-Sigler of Rincon; brother, Howard Salter of Metter; grandchildren, Trae and Tiffany Gilder, Travis Mathis, Seth and Shayla Kaminsky; great-granddaughter, Brooke Gilder.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p. m., Monday, Jan. 13 at the funeral home.

Funeral Services: 11:00 a. m., Tuesday, Jan. 14 at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel in Pooler.

Entombment: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
