Andrew Tennyson Clarke Obituary

Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Andrew Tennyson Clarke, 82, died Sunday, June 29, 2003 at his residence after a brief illness. Mr. Clarke was a native and livelong resident of Toombs County. He was retired from Georgia Department of Corrections and a retired farmer. He was a member of the Georgia Peace Officers Association and was Baptist by faith. Survivors: wife, Cleo Clarke of Vidalia; three sons, Donald A. Clarke of Vidalia, Dennis A. Clarke of Watkinsville and J. Dwain Clarke of Norcross; two brothers, Durward Clarke and Curtis Clarke both of Vidalia; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren also survive. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, from the Ronnie L. Stewart Family Service Chapel of Vidalia with Rev. Henry Dowd, and Rev. Don Gibbs officiating. Burial: Sharpe Cemetery near Alston. Remembrances: Community Hospice at P.O. Box 2277, Vidalia, GA, 30475. Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service.

P.D. ONeal Obituary

Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia - P.D. ONeal, 73, died Monday,, June 30, 2003 at St. Josephs Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Toombs County in 1974. He was employed with the Truax Veneer Mill in Lyons, was a retired custodian at the Toombs County Courthouse and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors: six sisters, Ethel Hood, Vera Conley, Frances Youmans, Geneva Sharpe and Wanda Emanuel, all of Lyons, and Ann Colson of Claxton; brother, Cecil ONeal of Lyons; several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 7:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, in the chapel of Murchison Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Corley officiating. Burial: Lyons City Cemetery. Murchison Funeral Home Vidalia.
