Carole Clark Mason Obituary

Fitzgerald, Ben Hill County, Georgia - Carole Clark Mason, 61, died Friday, July 18, 2003. She was born January 19, 1942 in Vidalia to the late Sid and Marie Stanley Clark. Mrs. Mason lived in her community since 1974. She grew up in Lyons where she was a 1960 honor graduate of Lyons High School. She graduated from Georgia Southern College with a degree in Sociology. She taught at Moultrie High School, Screven County High School, and Northside High School in Warner Robins. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Fitzgerald. She was co-owner of Masons Home Furnishings & Decorating in Fitzgerald. Survivors: husband, Gene Mason of Fitzgerald; sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Susie Mason and Andy Mason, all of Fitzgerald; brother, William N. "Billy" Clark, Sr. of Lyons; grandchildren, Dylan and Logan Mason of Fitzgerald. Visitation: 7:00-9:00 p.m., Saturday evening at the funeral home. Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m., Sunday at Central United Methodist Church, Fitzgerald, conducted by Rev. Steve Waldorf. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald. Remembrances: Blue-Gray Community Hospice, Fitzgerald or Central United Methodist Church Preschool in Fitzgerald. Paulk Funeral Home Fitzgerald.

Uvalda, Montgomery County, Georgia - Mrs. Lila Dell NeeSmith, 91, died Friday, July 18, 2003 after a brief illness. Survivors: son, Earl Dean NeeSmith; daughter, Tiny Will NeeSmith; and other relatives. Visitation: 5:00-9:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral Services: 4:00 p.m., Sunday, at Cedar Crossing Church of God. Burial follows at Cedar Crossing Cemetery. Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service of Vidalia.
