Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia - Flora Belle George Lockley, 82, died Friday, June 13, 2003 in Memorial Medical Center of Savannah after an extended illness.
A native of Coffee County, she lived most of her life in Toombs County. She was homemaker and a member of Providence Baptist Church and choir. Mrs. Lockley was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Lockley.
Survivors: three daughters, Sylvia Dennis of Lyons, Diane Pennington of Vidalia and Gail Leith of Lincolnton; one brother, W.H. George of Jonesville, NC; two grandchildren, Tami Dennis of Pasadena CA, and Freddy Dennis of Lyons; four great-grandchildren, Jenna, Will, and Brandon Dennis all of Lyons, and Erin Dennis of Pasadena, CA.
Funeral Services: 3:00 p.m. Sunday, from the Providence Baptist Church with Rev. James Wilcox and Rev. Mack Harris officiating.
Burial: church cemetery. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services.
