Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia - Jacky D. Amerson, 53, died Saturday, June 14, 2003 in the Fairview Park Hospital of Dublin of injuries received in an auto accident in Laurens County.

Jacky was a native and lifelong resident of Lyons, was retired from C.S.X. Railroad, served six years in the U.S. Army, and was Baptist by faith.

Survivors: two nephews, Carter Amerson of Guyton, and Benson King of Pooler; three nieces, Tammy and Leah King, both of Pooler, and Shelby Amerson of Guyton.

Visitation: 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, from the Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service Chapel of Vidalia with Rev. Jessie Browning officiating.

Burial: Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
