Glennville, Tattnall County, Georgia - James A. Dasher, 75, died Saturday, June 21, 2003 at his residence under the care of Coastal Hospice.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Tattnall County, a farmer, carpenter, and a Baptist.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Renee Dasher of Glennville; granddaughters, Chancey, Amy, and Amber Dasher, all of Glennville; sister, Eloise Griner of Lyons; brothers, Richard, Jerry, and Roger Dasher, all of Glennville; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 22, at Carter Funeral Chapel in Glennville.
Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 23 at Carter Funeral Chapel with Rev. Oscar Rowe, Jr. officiating.
Burial: Glennville Memorial Gardens.

Reidsville, Tattnall County, Georgia - Raymond Roy Murphy, Jr., II, 27, died Thursday, June 19, 2003.
Funeral Services: 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 22, in the Chapel of Murchison Funeral Home.
Burial: Lakeview Memorial Gardens near Vidalia.

Reidsville, Tattnall County, Georgia - Mr. Caswell S. Yawn, 77, died Saturday, June 21, 2003 at his residence under the care of Pearls of Life Hospice.
Mr. Yawn was born and reared in Ray City, Ga. and lived in Jesup many years before moving to Reidsville 30 years ago. He was a United States Navy veteran and retired after 25-years of service from Georgia State Prison as an X-ray technologist. He was most recently working part-time as a lab technologist with Doctors Lab in Vidalia. He was a member and deacon of the Reidsville Baptist Church, Past Master of Rising Sun Lodge #32, served on the Board of Directors of the Reidsville Lions Club, and was a member of the Reidsville VFW Post #7760.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clayton Samuel Yawn of Florence, S.C. and Vera Roberts Yawn of Ray City.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Curl Yawn of Reidsville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Clayton and Ellie Yawn of Green Cove Springs, Fla. and Greg and Susan Yawn of Dacula; two stepsons and stepdaughters-in- law, Mike and Kelly Canady of Hagan and Wayne and Tammy Canady of Reidsville; stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Teresa and Darrion Stanfield of Reidsville; two sisters, D Ree Natale of Washingtonville, N.Y. and Allene Stutzman of Pinehurst, N.C.; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m., Monday at Reidsville Baptist Church. Mr. Yawn will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial: Reidsville City Cemetery with Masonic Burial Rites.
