Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Mr. Clyde E. Mosley, 64, died Sunday, March 16, 2003.

Survivors: his wife, Joyce L. Mosley, two daughters, and other relatives.

Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 18, at the funeral home.

Entombment will follow in Pinecrest Mausoleum.

Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Mrs. Sandra Charlene Sheffield Newsome, 50, died Sunday, March 16, 2003 at her residence after an extended illness.

She was born in Screven County, living in this area for 30 years. Mrs. Newsome was a graduate of Georgia Southern University, a guidance counselor with the Vidalia High School, a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church, a former member of the Pilot Club, Board member of the South Central Pageant and a sponsor of the Beta Club of the Vidalia High School.

Survivors: husband, Dwight Newsome of Vidalia; daughter, Heather Newsome of Valdosta; parents, Mr and Mrs. Edward Sheffield of Sylvania; sister, Kim Sheffield of Savannah; brother, Larry Sheffield of Augusta; mother-in-law Sidney Newsome of Vidalia; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services: 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 18 in the chapel of Murchison Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Dupree officiating.

Burial: Ruths Chapel Cemetery.
