John Aubrey NeSmith, Sr., Obituary

Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia - John Aubrey NeSmith, Sr., , 54, died Wednesday, May 21, 2003 at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital in Augusta after a short illness. He was born in Bulloch County, living in Toombs County for the past 17 years. He was a retired fork lift operator and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. Survivors: wife of 35 years, Julia Edna NeSmith of Lyons; daughter, Donna Carol Daniels of Bulloch County; two sons, James Byron NeSmith and John Aubrey NeSmith, Jr., both of Lyons; five grandchildren, Richard and Tony Kendrick, Little Charlie and Tabatha Daniels, and James Dylon NeSmith; five sisters, Jeanette Aldrich of SC, Annie Stewart of Statesboro, Christine Lively of Lyons, Polly Usher of Pinenora and Mary Lee Howard of Pooler; four brothers, Irvin NeSmith of Lyons, James NeSmith of Sylvania, Charles NeSmith of Pembroke and Clyde NeSmith of Hopewell, VA; several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 7:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 24, in the chapel of Murchison Funeral Home with Reverend Rick Wilson officiating. Burial: Oak Park Cemetery. Murchison Funeral Home.
