Willie R. Riner Obituary

Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia - Willie R. Riner, 91, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003 after an extended illness. A native of Emanuel County, he lived most of his life in Toombs County. Mr. Riner was a retired farmer, a member and deacon of the Union Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors: wife, Annie Lou Barnes Riner of Cedar Crossing; one son and daughter-in-law, Glynn and Rachel Riner of Hampton; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Riner of Alpharetta and Carla Riner of Winchester VA; one sister, Gretell Claxton of Savannah; three brothers, Bobby Riner of Branchville, SC, Lenwood and Byron Riner, both of Swainsboro; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Funeral Services; 2:00 p.m. Thursday, from the chapel of Jones-Stewart Funeral Home of Lyons with Elder Tommy Roundtree and Elder Robert Torrence officiating.

Burial: Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
