Mr. Bobby Maurice Jarrell Obituary

Rincon, Effingham County, Georgia - Mr. Bobby Maurice Jarrell, 67, died July 17, 2004 at Candler Hospital.

He graduated from Montgomery County High School and attended Brewton Parker College in Ailey, GA.

He served in the U.S. Army for four years and was employed with Great Dane Trailers, Delta Metals, and retired from East Coast Terminal West in 1999.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Finch Williams, daughter, Twanna Jarrell and nephew, Johnny Ward.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Neal Altman and granddaughter, Tiawna Nicole Altman of Rincon; two brothers, Trenton Ward of Bloomingdale and Leonard Williams of Lyons; one sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Ronnie Lowe of Ashville, NC; two nieces, Mona Buck of Brandon, FL and Johnna Ward of Reidsville; three nephews, Kenny and Allen Lowe of Ashville, NC and Steven Buck of Brandon, FL; two aunts, Thethis Pete Pike of Savannah and Edith Finch of Metter and several cousins.

Visitation: 6-8 p. m., Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at the funeral home. Funeral: 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 21, 2004 in the funeral home Chapel. Rev. Andy R. Brownley will officiate.

Interment: McCrimmon Cemetery in Higgston, GA at 3:00 p.m.

Mr. Carson VaughnObituary

Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia - Mr. Carson Vaughn, 87, of 206 W. Stuart Ave. Lyons, died early Sunday morning in the Bethany Nursing Center of Vidalia after an extended illness.

A native of Emanuel County, he lived most of his life in Toombs County.

He was a retired lineman with Altamaha E.M.C., a United States Army veteran of W.W.II, and a member of the Vidalia Primitive Baptist Church.

Mr. Vaughn is survived by one daughter, Peggy Hammock of Statesboro; two granddaughters, Dawn Groover and Patrice Nelson; one great-grandson, Neal Groover, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Jones-Stewart Funeral Home of Lyons with Rev. John Shelton Michael officiating.

Interment: Lyons City Cemetery.
