Scott Brauda Obituary

Baxley, Appling Co, Georgia - Scott Brauda, 39, died Tuesday in the Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.

He was a native of Brunswick, Georgia but had resided in Hortense before moving to Baxley five years ago. He was a self employed log truck driver and was a member of Satilla Baptist Church in Hortense.

Mr. Brauda is survived by his wife, Sandra Brauda of Baxley; four daughters, Jessica Brauda of Patterson, Becky Hall of Vidalia, Bobbie Sue Kauger and Kristi Altman both of Baxley; one son, Colby Brauda of Baxley ; his parents, Shirley and Carl Murray of Savannah and Emery and Annie Brauda of Hortense; three sisters, Teresa Deason of Savannah, Rhonda Lee of Hortense, and Julie Bates of Brunswick; and one grandchild, Lilly Altman of Baxley.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Wayne Williamson and Rev. Mike Smith will officiate. Mr. Brauda will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Active pallbearers will be Charles Simmons, Scotty Simmons, Donny Murphy, Charles Nail, Brandon King, and Curtis Nettles. Honorary pallbearers will be all friends of the family.

Tarrytown, Montgomery Co, Georgia - Mr. Marvin L. Evans, Jr., , 68, died Monday, March 1, 2004.

Survivors: wife, Reba F. Evans; one son, Karl Evans; one daughter, Nancy Haney.

Visitation: 7:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral Services: 2:30 p.m. Friday at Vidalia Church of God.

Burial: Pinecrest Cemetery.

Glennis Moore Snipes Obituary

Lyons, Toombs Co, Georgia - Glennis Moore Snipes, 80, died Wednesday.

She is survived by a daughter, Glenda (Jimmy) Anderson; granddaughter, Michelle Suber and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service: Thursday at 2 p.m. at Kennedy Morgan Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.

Burial: Mt. Zion Cemetery in Toombs Co.
