Tattnall County, Georgia - Mr. Bob P. Anderson, 67, he passed away Sunday at his home after struggling with Lou Gehrig's disease.
The Tattnall Co., native lived most of his life here except for 12 years spent in Savannah. He graduated from Collins High School in 1955 with a basketball scholarship to Brewton Parker College. He graduated from Valdosta State College in 1963 where he received a BA in education and still holds the record of 14 free throws in a single game. He then taught and coached at Collins and Oak Park schools. Bob retired from CSX Railroad as a railroad engineer in October, 2000 after 40 years of employment. He was a member of the Rothwell Baptist Church in Pooler. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather whose favorite pastime was fishing with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Teri C. Anderson of Cobbtown; sons, Thomas "Buster" Anderson of Orange Park, FL and Robert D. Anderson (Casey) of Cobbtown; daughters, Deborah Anderson -Shrade r (Paul) of Fernandina Beach, FL and Michelle Anderson-Hadley (John) of Lyons; mother, Eudell M. Anderson of Cobbtown; brothers, W.S. Anderson of Garden City and Winston Anderson of Cobbtown; sister, Sandra A. Burroughs of Cobbtown; seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.
Burial: Connors Cemetery.

Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Mr. Clyde Clifton Culler, Jr., 80, of 1630 Fairway Drive, Vidalia died Monday, April 18, 2005 at the Meadows Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
He was a native of Winston-Salem, NC., moving to Vidalia in 1962, then to Hilton Head Island, SC., in 1983 and back to Vidalia in January 2005.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WW II, prior owner of Georgia Machine and Manufacturing Company, Inc., in Vidalia, was a former president of the Vidalia Chamber of Commerce and was involved in numerous city and civic activities and was a member of the Low Country Presbyterian Church in Bluffton, SC.
Mr. Culler is survived by his wife, Elaine C. Culler of Vidalia; three daughters, Leslie C. Weaver, Christina Burdette and Jennifer Alsdorf all of Vidalia; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one sister, Louise Ellison of Winston Salem, NC and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 21, 2005 in the Chapel of Murchison Funeral Home with Reverend Marck Barth officiating.

Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia - Mr. Felix Arthur Smith, 72, of 215 North Gwinnett Street, Lyons died Sunday, April 17, 2005 at his residence after a sudden illness.
He was a native of Toombs County, living there for fifty nine years, was a retired truck driver with R. L. Cato and a member of Lyons Free Will Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebie James Smith.
Mr. Smith is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Felix Wayne and Sophia Smith of Lyons, Donald James and LeeAnn Smith of Glennville and Sammy Eugene and Sherri Smith of Leesburg; three sisters, Isabell Harden of Lyons, JoAnne Smith of Gray and Imogene Kersey of Kentucky; three brothers, Venson Smith of Conyers, Pat Smith of Pembroke and Frank Smith of Portal; four grandsons, Felix Duane Smith and wife Becky of Reidsville, Christopher A. Smith and Tucker and Tye Smith all of Leesburg; three great-grandchildren, Drew, Ammiee and Hunter Smith all of Reidsville; four sisters-in-law, Jack ie Meeks, Robie Haines, Hattie Mae James and Marie Meeks; two brothers-in-law, Jessie James and his wife, Willie of SC., and Junior Caraway of Lyons and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 6-9 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at Lyons Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Rick Wilson officiating.
Interment: Hardens Chapel Cemetery.
