Mr. Jack Dickerson, 76, Obituary

Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Mr. Jack Dickerson, 76, of 810 Green Street, Vidalia died Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at his residence after an extended illness.

He was a native of Candler County, moving to this community in 1956, was a retired carpenter, and was baptist by faith.

Mr. Dickerson is survived by his wife, Jethalene M. Dickerson of Vidalia; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Larry Davis and Jackie and Roy Clements all of Uvalda; one sister, Jean Simpson of Fayetteville; one step-daughter, Becky Wilkes of Dallas, GA and Mike Guin of Eatonton; four grandchildren, Brad Davis and Amanda and Robbie Clements all of Uvalda and Melanie Davis of Vidalia; three great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Jakob and Nathan; five step-grandchildren, Susan Vande Zande of Dallas, GA, Glenn Fountain of Covington, Michael John Guin of Uvalda, Kelly Guin Moses of Vidalia and Mickey Guin of Soperton; seven step-great-grandchildren, Hanna, Jacob, Samuel, Abigail, Daniel, Sadie and Owen; one niece, one nephew and several cousins.

Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held 4 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2005 in the Chapel of Murchison Funeral Home.

Interment: Lakeview Memorial Gardens near Vidalia.
