Mrs. Mary Bell Sconyers Dixon, 95, Obituary
Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia – Mrs. Mary Bell Sconyers Dixon, 95, formerly of 799 Henry O'Neal Road, died Friday, February 11, 2005 in the Meadows Nursing Center in Vidalia after an extended illness. She was a native of Toombs County, living her lifetime in the area, was a homemaker and a member of the New Branch Calvary Holliness Church. Mrs. Dixon is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Nelson Brinson of Lyons; three sons and daughters -in-law, Max and Margaret Sheppard of Coolidge, TX, J. Howell and Robbie Lou Dixon of Vidalia and J.C. and Ronnie Sue Dixon of Dublin; eleven grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one sister, Willie Mae Bass of Lyons and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, February 13, 2005 in the Chapel of Murchison Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Phillips officiating. Interment: Lakeview Memorial Gardens near Vidalia.
