Mr. Glen Akins, 36, Obituary

Claxton, Evans County, Georgia - Mr. Glen Akins, 36, died, July 8, 2005, at his residence.

The Toombs County native had resided in Evans County for most of his life. He was the owner of Akins Digital Communications in Claxton.

Survivors: his wife, Zandra Akins of Glennville; two sons, Cody and Austin Akins of Glennville; his parents, Jerry and Marlene Akins of Claxton and Glenda and John Threet of Claxton; two brothers, Dan Akins of Claxton and Tim Akins of Columbus, GA; two half-brothers, Andy and Zach Akins of Claxton; his maternal grandmother, Joy D. Tippins of Claxton; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Sunday, July 10, 6:00 p.m., until, at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.

Funeral: Monday, July 11, 2005, 11:00 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church.

Burial: Old Anderson Cemetery in Glennville, GA.

Remembrances: Glen Akins Children's College Fund, C/O The Tippins Bank, Claxton, GA, 30417.

J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home is in charge "Our Family Serving Your Family" Since 1917.
