Charleston, SC - Entered into eternal rest on the morning of March 26, 2005, Letha Boyette Evans, widow of William Edward Evans, Sr.
Mrs. Evans was born in Cobbtown, Georgia on June 11, 1913, the daughter of Thomas Lawton Boyette and Alice Rosa Kicklighter Boyette. She was a homemaker and a member of James Island Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, William Edward Evans, Jr. of Charleston; two sisters, Dera B. Biciase of Charleston, Tycile B. Williamson of Lyons, Georgia; two grandchildren, Martha M. Sudina, Donna Evans Bernados and three great-grandchildren, W. Brandon Evans, Amber D. Sudina and Christan L. Sudina.
Interment: Carolina Memorial Gardens.

Statesboro, Bulloch County, Georgia - Mr. Arthur J. Vornbaum, 82, died Monday morning at the Statesboro Nursing Home.
The New Jersey native lived in Savannah for several years before moving to Statesboro in 2000. He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor.
Mr. Vornbaum was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Rollison Vornbaum.
Survivors: a niece, Nancy Panzanna of Linden, N.J., and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Raymond and Eloise Rollison of Lyons.
Visitation: 4 - 6 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
Graveside services,11 a.m., Wednesday at the Ohoopee Cemetery in Lyons.
Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home of Statesboro.
