Mr. Bobby Lee Kight, Sr., 71, Obituary

(1934-November 21, 2005)

Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Mr. Bobby Lee Kight, Sr., 71, of 2752 Hwy. 130 East, Vidalia, died early Monday morning, November 21, at his residence after a brief illness.

Mr. Kight was a native and lifelong resident of Toombs County. He was a retired farmer and co-owner of K & K Septic Tank Company of Vidalia, and was Baptist by faith.

Mr. Kight is survived by four sons: Bobby Lee Kight, Jr., Ronald Lee Kight, Benny Ray Kight all of Vidalia, Donald Ray Kight and his wife, Jennifer Rollins Kight of Lyons, one brother and his wife: Alvie Lee Kight, Jr. and Patty Claxton Kight of Vidalia, one sister and her husband: Joyce Kight McNair and Jack McNair of Lyons, five grandchildren: Jacob, Brandon, Ashton, Aaron, and Leeanna Kight, several nieces and nephews.

The family will assemble at the residence of son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Jennifer Rollins Kight, at 240 Ezra Taylor Road, Lyons and will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8.

Funeral services for Bobby Lee Kight, Sr. will be conducted Wednesday morning, November 23, at 11:00 from the Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service Chapel of Vidalia with Rev. Murray Ward officiating.

Interment will follow in the Lyons City Cemetery.

Mrs. Corrie C. O'Neal, 97, Obituary

(1908-November 19, 2005)

New Branch, Toombs County, Georgia - Mrs. Corrie C. O'Neal, 97, of Liberty St, Lyons, died November 19, 2005 at the Bethany Home Nursing Center after an extended illness.

She was a native and life long resident of Lyons in the New Branch Community. She graduated from Brewton Parker High School and College, and was a teacher for many years, owned Lyons Department Store, she and her husband owned and operated Ormands Jungle Den in Florida for several years and retired from there. She was a member of the Lyons Garden Club, Lyons First Baptist Church, the Baptist Women's Organization, a Sunday School teacher and served on numerous committies of the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon O'Neal, her parents; Lev and Lillie Clifton, a sister; Eunice Chandler, brothers; Willie Clifton and Arthur Clifton , her twin brother; Carl Clifton, several nieces and nephews; all from the New Branch Community.

She is survived by one great niece and several nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Corrie C. Oneal, will be held 2:00 Tuesday, November 22, 2005, at the Lyons First Baptist Church with Rev. Don Patterson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Lyons City Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday evening, November 21, 2005, from 7:00 until 9:00.
