Mr. Lewis Walter Adamson, 86, Obituary

Mt. Vernon, Montgomery County, Georgia - Mr. Lewis Walter Adamson, 86, of 367 College St., Mt. Vernon, died Thursday morning, October 27, in Fairview Park Hospital of Dublin after an extended illness.
Mr. Adamson was a native and lifelong resident of Montgomery County. He was a retired construction worker, was a U.S. Army Airforce Veteran serving in WWII, was a member of Mt. Vernon VFW, and was Methodist by faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth D. Adamson in 1979.
Mr. Adamson is survived by one son and his wife, Lewis E. and Pamela Adamson of Jacksonville, FL; two daughters and their husbands, Carol and David Landrum of Mt. Vernon and Mary and Greg James of Vidalia; three grandsons, Alan Landrum of Macon, Derek and Drew James both of Vidalia and one granddaughter, Lori Adamson of Jacksonville, FL.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Lewis Walter Adamson will be conducted Saturday morning, October 29, at 11:00 from Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jimmy Willhite officiating. Interment will follow.
