James Hank Devore Obituary

Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - James Hank Devore, 47, died June 11, 2000.

The native of Aiken County, S.C., lived most of his life in Vidalia. He was a Pineland Paper sales representative and a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Vidalia.

SURVIVORS: his wife, Lisa Devore of Vidalia; a son, Ben Devore of Vidalia; two daughters, Pattie and Hope Devore, both of Vidalia; a sister, Cheryl Unterfenger of McHenry, Ill.; a stepbrother, James Delton McDonald of Vidalia; a stepsister, Janie Cason of Tennessee; and his stepmother, Grace Devore of Vidalia.

VISITATION: 6-9 p.m. today at Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service.

FUNERAL: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service, burial in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Lucille R. Jones Obituary

Statesboro, Bulloch County, Georgia - Mrs. Lucille R. Jones, 91, died June 9 at Sunbridge Nursing Home.

The native of Toombs County lived there most of her life, but resided in Statesboro the past four years. She retired from Palmetto Box Co., was a member of Eastern Star and attended Eldora Baptist Church in Ellabell.

SURVIVORS: a sister, Bamie Cook of Jackson; a granddaughter, Cheryl Dilas of Bulloch County; a grandson, Robert Mercer Cook of Milledgeville; nine great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: 6-9 p.m. today at Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service.

FUNERAL: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service in Vidalia, burial in Jackson Cemetery in Jackson.
