Robert Fenmore "Skinner" Fortner, Sr. Obituary

Kibbee, Montgomery County, Georgia - Robert Fenmore "Skinner" Fortner, Sr., 75, died Friday morning, Aug. 2, at his residence after a brief illness. Mr. Fortner was a native and lifelong resident of Montgomery County, a retired heavy equipment operator, a member of Mt. Vernon VFW and the American Legion Post #97 of Vidalia.

He was a U. S. Army Veteran and was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille C. Fortner and his son, Robert "Rabbit" Fortner.

Survivors: grandson, Jeff Fortner of Kibbee, brother, James S. Fortner of Kibbee; sister, Lila Toole of Leesburg, GA; several cousins and nephews.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p. m. Sunday, at the funeral home. Funeral Services: 2:00 p. m. Monday, Aug. 5, from the Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service Chapel of Vidalia with Rev. George Moody officiating.

Burial: Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
